More on PrizeRebel

The awesome thing about this panel now is that it is not very popular yet. As I said, they are still a new website and there is not a lot of people that actually know about them. This gives you and me an opportunity to really benefits from them.

One great feature of this panel is that once you have enough points to buy an amazon gift card, you can redeem it. For PayPal you need a minimum of $5. There are also several ways such as surveys, offers and videos to make money from them.

Reviews on other survey panels

What I liked

  • Very low redemption threshold: This is a plus for me because other companies acquire that you have at least $20 or $50 in your account before you can redeem it. With PrizeRebel you only need enough to buy a gift card or at least $5 for Paypal.
  • They pay through PayPal. I really hate getting my money by a check because a check can get lost and it takes a long time before it gets to you. And then you have to go to the bank to cash out with that check.
  • They have a variety of ways to make money. If you are not in the mood for surveys, you can try some of the offers.
  • Everyone can participate. You do not need to live in the US to get accepted. Everyone can join the only effect that your location might have is the amount of surveys and offers you can take.

What I did not like

  • Some bad reviews. While doing more investigation on this site I came across a couple of very negative reviews. It is always a good idea to do further research on what others are saying. The most common complaint is that people get banned from their account and then they call the panel a scam. This is why I always recommend that you read their terms of agreement before you join because I see people breaking this agreement and then they get angry when the site bans them.

Ways to make money with PrizeRebel

1) Online surveys. is an offer site that focuses more on offers that surveys. The same counts for which is a similar site. I would not advise you to do the surveys on these type of sites as they do notHow to make money with prize rebel pay as much as others. If you would like to do only surveys, then I would recommend sites such as or

2) Offers. There are 2 types of offers and it includes paid and free offers. The free offers has a lower reward than paid offers, but let me explain something. When it comes to paid offers, you need a bit of patience and you must not be greedy with it. This is how people get burned and also where other complaints are coming from.

Let us say that you have a paid offer that are willing to pay you 1800 points or around $16.36 to complete an offer. If it cost you $6 to complete this offer, then you gain a $10.36 profit. Some of the offers require that you only take a free trial. Now this is probably the easiest way to earn cash with these type of websites.

Warning!! I advise you to make a note of the date when the free trail ends. If you have a 7 day trial, you need to end the trial on day 6. You should never end the trail on day 1 or 2 because that is too soon. Most companies need you to “test” a product first before ending the trial.

Sometimes a trial will cost you $1, but if you make more than you are spending, you should go ahead with it.

3) Watching videos. I would not recommend this one as it pays you pennies. The method I would stick to is the offers because they pay the most.

How to make the most money from survey sites

Do you want to know why most people call survey sites a scam and that they do not work? I am not saying that you do not get scams online, but what I am saying is that if you do not make any money with a particular method, then it is not your right to call it a scam.

Most people only join one survey site and then they think it will make them rich and this is definitely not the case. You need to join multiple survey site and then you only do the highest paying offers and surveys from each site to really make money. The bad part of surveys is that you are limited by time to earn money, so it is very important to only go for the cream inside survey sites.

There is also a lot of mistakes that you should avoid and you need to know how to look at survey sites with another perspective. This is the reason why I created Survey Royal. I created the Survey 101 training guide that will help you to make your journey with survey sites as painless as possible.

Thanks again for reading Survey Royal. I really hope you find this review helpful and if you have any questions or experience on, I would love to hear from you. Please leave me a comment below 🙂

  1. This is a really good review and I guess after your review, prizerebel is something that I can look into. I have an account with cashcrate and it seems forever to reach that $20 for payment… sigh… Anyway, thanks for sharing your review!

  2. Hi Viljoen,

I’m really glad you wrote about PrizeRebel. I love PR!

I’ve actually been using PR for almost 3 years now and have redeemed for their various rewards, especially eBay and Amazon gift cards – and now Paypal without any hiccups. You just can’t replace the fast turn around! I typically stick to surveys since those pay the most – yes they take a little more time, but for me it’s worth it. Their support is great too – I always get a response within 1-2 days. I think it’s sad that people call websites and companies scams when they don’t follow the rules and expect to be paid. If you follow the rules and don’t try and cheat them, you shouldn’t have any problems cashing out your points and keeping your account.

Oh BTW the conversion is 1:1. 100 points = $1.00.
