Affiliate Policy
1. Introduction
This Affiliate Policy ("Policy") governs your participation in the SurveyRoyal Affiliate Program ("Program"). By participating in the Program, you agree to comply with this Policy and all applicable laws, including the laws of England and Wales.
SurveyRoyal reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Continued participation in the Program after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Policy.
2. Eligibility
To participate in the Affiliate Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher
- Have a valid SurveyRoyal account in good standing
- Not have been previously terminated from the Program for violations
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
3. Commission Structure
3.1 Qualifying Earnings
Commissions are earned from selected offerwall partners as determined by SurveyRoyal. Earnings from other sources, surveys, or promotional activities do not qualify for affiliate commissions.
3.2 Referral Bonus
Referred Users who sign up using a valid referral code receive a one-time bonus credited to their account upon successful registration.
3.3 Commission Duration
Commissions are earned for the lifetime of the Referred User's account, subject to the terms of this Policy and SurveyRoyal's continued operation of the Program.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Commission Credits
Commissions are credited to your SurveyRoyal account balance in real-time when qualifying earnings are generated by your Referred Users.
4.2 Withdrawals
Commission earnings may be withdrawn according to SurveyRoyal's standard withdrawal policies and minimum thresholds as outlined in our Terms of Service.
4.3 Tax Obligations
You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings. Consult a tax advisor for guidance.
5. Promotional Guidelines
5.1 Permitted Promotion Methods
You may promote SurveyRoyal through:
- Personal websites and blogs
- Social media accounts you own or control
- Word-of-mouth recommendations
- Email communications to individuals who have consented to receive marketing from you
5.2 Prohibited Promotion Methods
The following promotional activities are strictly prohibited:
- Spam: Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or communications in violation of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) or similar legislation
- Misleading claims: Making false, exaggerated, or misleading statements about potential earnings, in compliance with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008
- Impersonation: Claiming to be an employee, representative, or official partner of SurveyRoyal
- Incentivised signups: Offering cash, rewards, or other incentives beyond the official referral bonus to encourage signups
- Fraudulent activity: Creating fake accounts, using bots, or engaging in click fraud
- Trademark misuse: Using SurveyRoyal's name, logo, or branding in a manner that suggests official endorsement without prior written consent
- Paid advertising: Running paid advertisements (PPC, display ads, etc.) that bid on SurveyRoyal-related keywords without prior approval
- Adult or illegal content: Promoting SurveyRoyal on websites containing adult, violent, discriminatory, or illegal content
5.3 Advertising Standards
All promotional materials must comply with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (CAP Code) administered by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). This includes:
- All advertisements must be obviously identifiable as such
- Claims about earnings must be truthful and not misleading
- Any material connection (i.e., that you earn commission from referrals) must be clearly disclosed
6. Disclosure Requirements
In accordance with the CAP Code, Consumer Rights Act 2015, and guidance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), you must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship when promoting SurveyRoyal. This includes:
- Using clear language such as "affiliate link," "ad," or "I earn commission from signups"
- Placing disclosures prominently before or alongside affiliate links
- On social media, using appropriate hashtags such as #ad or #affiliate
Failure to properly disclose your affiliate relationship may result in termination from the Program and may expose you to regulatory action.
7. Intellectual Property
SurveyRoyal grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our name and logo solely for the purpose of promoting the Affiliate Program, subject to these conditions:
- You may not modify, alter, or create derivative works of our branding
- You may not use our branding in a manner that implies endorsement or partnership beyond your affiliate status
- This licence may be revoked at any time at SurveyRoyal's sole discretion
8. Data Protection
Your participation in the Affiliate Program is subject to our Privacy Policy. In relation to any personal data you process in connection with your affiliate activities:
- You must comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018
- You must not collect, store, or process personal data of Referred Users beyond what is necessary for your promotional activities
- You must have a lawful basis for any marketing communications you send
- You must honour data subject rights requests promptly
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by You
You may stop promoting SurveyRoyal at any time, but your referral code will remain active and you will continue to earn commissions from qualifying earnings generated by users who have already used your referral code. To request deactivation of your referral code, please contact our support team.
9.2 Termination by SurveyRoyal
SurveyRoyal may terminate your participation in the Affiliate Program immediately and without notice if:
- You breach any provision of this Policy
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Your SurveyRoyal account is suspended or terminated
- We reasonably believe your activities harm SurveyRoyal's reputation
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination by SurveyRoyal:
- Your referral code will be deactivated
- No new users can use your referral code
- You will continue to earn commissions from qualifying earnings generated by existing Referred Users in accordance with the commission duration terms
- Any pending commission balance above the minimum withdrawal threshold may be withdrawn according to standard procedures
- SurveyRoyal reserves the right to withhold or reverse commissions earned through fraudulent or prohibited means
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- SurveyRoyal's total liability under this Policy shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding any claim
- SurveyRoyal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- SurveyRoyal does not guarantee any level of earnings from the Affiliate Program
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Program Changes
SurveyRoyal reserves the right to make changes to the Affiliate Program as needed. Any material changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your account or through a notice on our website.
